I relate to this so hard, especially the bean part haha. But you're right it is interesting when I fuck up! Doing a series of kitchen gymnastics in an attempt to rescue something and either succeed or fail always makes a good story
Or sometimes not a good story! I'm that person who will serve you dinner or give you a box of cookies and tell you about everything that went wrong and why they aren't as good as I wanted them to be. I'm trying to recognize when it's good to review what went wrong vs when to shut up and let someone enjoy their food.
